Polartec is a historic company that began in the 19th century under the name Malden Mills, specializing in materials for military uniforms and women's clothing. This jacket uses POLARTEC® PowerGrid®, which quickly absorbs moisture released by the base layer and dissipates it to the outside. It also features a 6.3 oz (231 gm) fabric that provides excellent warmth and stretch. Its thinness makes it an excellent layering piece for high altitudes and activities in the coldest winters, and it's especially useful in the cooler autumn and spring months. The lining is brushed with a grid pattern, making it comfortable against the skin and comfortable to wear even over a short-sleeved shirt. This lightweight fleece jacket is your go-to jacket year-round.
Our pro staff wear this all day, from when they sleep, when they wake up and head to the mountains, while they're out and about in the mountains, and even when they head to the hot springs on their way back. Its simple design keeps you dry even when you sweat, and doesn't restrict your movement.
